I went to Manhattan again

I went to Manhattan again. I went there many times in three months. I paid for Manhattan so much but if baseball season starts, I cannot go there anymore so I have to go there now. We practice weekly day and Saturday and Sunday from 2009. I might be tired but we have to practice because we sucesseed last season so we have to be state champion again.

Then, I talk about Manhattan. I woke up 8am and prepared my stuff. clothes, brushed my teeth and so on and I and Keida went bus stop then Mr.Kringle waited bus. We talked little bit and 9.05am, we got on the bus and we got on the train at 9.48am.

First, we went to Macy's because I have to buy something for my hometown's friends and I bought 4 umbrella for them. There were so many people in there. Very crowded. Next, we went to SoHo and I bought shirt and scarf for my friends. Keida bought scarf for his friend too. We paid much money so we became poor.

Finally, we went to Ippudo which is Japanese ramen restaurant. How to go there is first, you get on the subway (6 and downtown) and you get off the train at Astor Place and the Ippudo places 4th Ave between 9th strret and 10th street. It is very good so I recomended. and also, I tell you haw to go Gyukaku. Same as Ippudo. You get on the subway(6 and downtown) and you get off the train at Astor Place then you can see Gyukaku.

Bobby Valentain

At first, I am sorry about late for this blog because our baseball team was invited speech of Bobby Valentain. He is a manager of Chiba Lotte Marines which team is Japanese baseball pro team. His cousin works at school in Coneticut so his cousin invited him there and Dr. Sekiguchi which is doctor at Keio Academy is friend with Bobby Valentain so Bobby Valentain invited Keio Academy baseball team.

We gatherd at 8.30am and we got on the bus. There were 19 players and 5 manegers and Ms.Pochintesta, Ms. Jyunko, Coach Billy and coach Rocky. So total was 28 people went there. It took about 40 minutes to get there. I do not remember the school name but we arrived the school and we went to like lecture hole. When we got there, Bobby Valentain already arrived and he waited for us. We sat the chair soon and his speech started but ...I did not understand his English because he was very fast and his words difficult but he was very funny and friendly. I got sign for Keio Academy and we took picture. Actually, he is small. I thought he is very big. I was surprised.

Thanks giving

In thanks giving, I went to Manhattan with my friends but I want there once in thanks giving. Actually I wanted to go there more times. Anyway, we went to soho first and we went "supreme" and I looked some clothes and bags. I bought a bag which is like nilon bag and colorful. I think the bag colored green and red and paste logo of supreme at center the bag. I was glad.
Next, we went to some shops. For example, Addidas, paul smith, flying A, D&G, Polo Ralph Lauren and so on and I bought cap, jacket and socks but almost shops saled so I could buy them low price. I was glad again.
Finally, we went to Japanese barbecue restaurant which name called "Gyukaku" we arrived there at 4.30 pm but the restaurant opend at 5.00pm so we waited 30 minutes at outside. It was little bit cold and after 30 mintes passed, we took in the restaurant. We ate so much adn it was so good, delicious but it costed little bit expensive. I want to go there with my parents so I don't pay money.
My thanks giving holiday was good.

Parents day

Last weekend, our school had parents day. Some students's parents came here to hear own son's or daugher's grade and parents has to come to communicate teacher but my parents did not come here because the cost which from Japan to NY is very expensive.
But in last Saturday, Emori's father came here so he called me Manhattan to eat lunch. First, I and Emori gathered cafeteria at 10.30am and we ate breakfast. We got on the bus 11.10am and we got on the train at 12.05pm. We arrived Manhattan at 12.40pm. Emori's father stayed Hotel UN so we walked there. At 1.00pm, we gathered and we talked about place of lunch. I had card of some Japanese restaurants so Emori's father looked them and he wanted to eat Ramen so we went to "Ippudo" which is 4th Ave East 10street. When we arrived there, the restaurants was very crowded so we waited 30 minutes to eat. After 30 minutes passed, we could eat. We ate 5 appetizers, ramen and rice. They were very good taste!! We are full.

Next, I had plan. Actually, I have to go to Grand Central at 4.00 pm because Keida's mother and Keida invited me to eat dinner. I was full!! But I have to go so I said good bye to Emori's father and Emori.

I went to Grand Central at 4.05pm and looked for Keida and I found him. He sat stairs alone so I asked " Where is your mother?" and he said " she is in the hotel" so we went to the Keida's mother's room and I met her. She already dicided where we eat dinner. We went to Kaiten Sushi. It was very delicious too but I was full so I could not eat much.

And I had to go back to dorm so I went back to dorm and in the bus which was going to ManhattanVill college. I met Mr.Kringle. He had some bags.

I thanked Emori's father and Keida's mother.

I went to Manhattan again

I went to Manhattan again with my friends. Actually, I went there last week.
First, we did not decide where we go so we went to disney store. There were so many disney character's things. For example, magcup, stuffed animal, pierce and so on. Therefore, I wanted to buy these things but I did not have enough money to buy them so I gave up.

After we went there, we walked 5th Avenue and we looked some brands. We looked PRADA, GUCCI, Louis Vuitton, COACH, BVLGARI and so on. They were so expensive and gorgious. We did not buy anything. We could not buy but just fitting is free so we tried to fit. Then, I thought in future, I want to wear like these cloth.

After that, we went to Soho. We rode subway and we took off at Spring street. We went to some cloth brands shop but I really wanted to go the shop which is Sunrise Mart. This shop is like a Daido. There are so many Japanese things so I wanted to go there.

Finally, we went to Japanese restaurant which is Mentyankotei. I think it places 45th street, between Madison Ave and 3rd Ave. That taste was very good.

I want to go there after one month later.

Manhattan

I went to Manhattan last saturday with Keida Kanetsgu and Soma Yusuke. I had a official approval of Kanji but Keida and Soma did not have that. I woke up at 7 am and I ate breakfast. I prepared for the test and it started at 8.20 am. I worked hard but I thought I failed because I did not study and it was hard. When I finished the test, I went to south dorm. They waited for me. We rode the bus and went to White Plains Station. We checked the express time so we could arive Grand Central soon.
After we arived Grand Central, we went to disney store for present to my friend who lives in Japan. I bought something. I do not want to say that. Next we went to Soho. We used subway. First, we went to "Supreme" which is skater bland. I bought denim which cost was 136 dollar. I was glad and we went to adidas D&G and so on.
Finally, we went to Hamakatsu which is Japanese restaurant. We ate Tonkatsu. It was very good taste. I thought Japanese food is the best food in this world. The cost was 25 dollars each person. I thought it was little bit expensive but it was delicious. I want to go again.

My life is baseball part 3

I talk about last year's New York Baseball state championship.
One week later, we had a state championship. The first team which was Honeoye played against Keio. This game was so easy to win because we got 9 runs soon. So we relaxed and we won this game. The score was 9-1. We thought the next game would be a problem because we laced Fort Plain High School which was the school that beat us. We hoped to beat Fort Plain because we can get revenge, but they lost against Thomas Edison! We could not get revenge on them. However, our goal was getting the state championship. We forgot about Fort Plain. We prepared for the next game.
About 3 hours later, the state finals started. We went to bat first. At first, each team did not get a score. Our pitcher and Thomas Edison’s pitcher were very good, so it was not easy to get a score. But in the 3th inning, we attacked. The coach cheered up before our batting. He said ‘We have to win this game. We practiced every day for this time!’ and our motivation rose. First, Yuki Toriyama hit a base hit and the next batter who is Kenta Miyoshi hit a base hit too. Next, Shun Oritachi tried to lay down a sacrifice bunt then the opponent did not field the bunt and we had the bases loaded. Next was me. I thought I have to hit now. I concentrated. I hit the first pitch then the ball hit the left-field wall. We got 3 runs at a burst. Then score was 3-0. When our batting was over, score was 6-0. We kept defending. And in last inning, we got 2 outs soon. We were convinced we could win, and then own pitcher got a strike out! We became state champions! We screamed and jumped! The coaches did too. Becoming a state champion was the first time for Keio since the time Keio Academy was built. This is my best memory. I will not forget this in my life.
When the seniors left this school [This means graduated baseball team too.], they called my name as a captain. I felt I had to lead teammates but I was very happy. Becoming a captain was a big responsibility to keep the team as one. I have to think about everything for the team. For example, I have to think about the schedule of the team, the work-out schedule of every player, and tell the coaches how players are doing and how players’ bodies are doing. It is a big responsibility but it is worth doing it. I am looking forward to continue this job as a captain of the Keio baseball team.

My life is baseball part 2

Today, I talk about my baseball life again. My career of baseball was going well in Japan, I had to come to Keio Academy of New York. I came here as a 10th grade and I could not join the starting team, but when I was in 10th grade, the coach sometimes called my name as a the starting member. That year, we became state finalist but we did not win. The score was 10-9. We lost. We wanted to win really badly. When the game was over, every player cried and two coaches cried too. The coach said “we have to win next year and we have to return here again. This is revenge” I promised that we would come back here again.


Then next year, we had a difficult road to win the sectional champion. There was an extra inning game against Vallhara High School but we won. In 8th inning, Kazumasa Matsuda hit over the right fielder. That was a 2 base hit and next batter was Takaho Chubachi. We expected him to hit. He hit a base hit and Kazumasa got to home plate. Then the score was 4-3 and we saved the next inning so we became sectional champions.

I will write about last year's state championship in next blog and I like writing about baseball because I can recall about baseball which I played.

My life is baseball

Today, I talk about my baseball. In all my life all I did was being a good baseball player. I started my baseball career when I was in second grade. There were about other 20 teams. Sometimes, we had a championship in our region. My team always won the championship so I can say my team was probably the strongest in the region where I was living in. I started as a second baseman and changed to short stop. I kept my batting spot as a leadoff hitter and my average was .765. This average won the award of MVP. It gave me a lot of pressure to keep this average, however, it also was my own goal which helped me to be a better player. The team which I was playing called “Nakacho Friends” We went to state championship and always won.

When I was in 8th grade, I had a rival. I competed with the boy who was a better player than me for the second baseman position. I did not believe I could get the second baseman position. I worked hard because I ran everyday about 3 miles and swung the bat about 100 times. 1 month later, the coach called my name as a starting member. I was very happy when my name was called. . From then, I got my position as a regular player.

Today, I wrote only these sentences. I will write about high school baseball on next blog.

Fishing Trip!!!

First, I am sorry about late for new blog. Internet in my dorm was so slow and we couldnot go the "blogger.com" This is true.

Then, I talk about fishing trip on last Sunday. We gathered at school at 6.45 am. Some people were late. We did not get angry because we thought too it was too early and we took off the school about at 7. 10 am. We rode a school bus and it took about 30 minutes and we arrived some port. I do not know the port's name.


We got a ship to the sea. We could see Manhattan and some city on the ship. First, we could not fish but American could fish. We jealoused about that. About 2 hours past, under class man fished blue fish. Since then, we started fishing and I fished blue fish but it was small. Other person could fish a blue fish bigger than mine. I feel jealous again.


And we heard the bell which signed end fishing. Eventually, Keio students could get 26 fishes. 25 blue fishes and 1 bream. I could fish only one blue fish and also it was small. American fished very big blue fish. I was surprised.


We went back to our dorm and we prepared for cooking the fishes which is we fished. First, under class men flavored with some spices and over class men fired some charcoal. We prepared for eating the fishes. We ate a lot and we finished eating. It took only 90 minutes. There were some vegetables and rice balls. Their taste were very good.

Next fishing trip is March so please come fishing trip Mr.Kringle!!

In my dorm life

I am going to talk about in my dorm life. I live in B1-34. My roommate is Kanetsugu Keida who is a rugby guy so sometimes when he goes back to my room, my room become smelly. Anyway, my dorm life lead a full. I wake up at 7 am and I wake Yusuke Soma up. I and he go to the cafeteria together and we take breakfast. It always takes 20 minutes. When we finish eating, we go back to our dorm. Then I always check my E-mail on personal computer. It takes about 10 minutes and I prepare for school. I always go to school at 8.15 am.


My school is usually end at 3,05 pm. When the school end, I go back to my dorm and I prepare for practicing baseball. Our basebal team gather at 3,35 pm and start practicing. We end practicing about at 6,20 pm and we eat dinner. I usually go to weight training after eat dinner until 7 ,30 pm. After I do weight trainig, I have to study from 7,30 pm until 9,45 pm. I feel very long but I have to dtudy.


When study hour is over, I do something but I do different things each day so I can not think about that and I always sleep past 12 am. My dorm life is like this.

Theater day!!

Yesterday, we took the TOEFL Test from 8.30am and it took about 2 hours. I was very tired. I tried to concentrate but it was hard to do so. I think the score was very low. I do not know why we have to take the TOEFL TEST.

After we finished the test, we excited becaause theater was coming soon!! We watched "Hair Spray" but actually, I wanted to watch "Lion King". I watched "Lion King" in Japan, so I wanted to watch again in English. But the dream did not come true.

We took the bus and we went to Manhattan. It took about 1 hour. When I was in the bus, I slept until I got to the theater. We had free time after we received there until 1.40pm.

Then, we watched the theater. I cannot understand English very much, so it was too dificult for me to enjoy the story. However, the song was better than I expected. I was impressed with the beauty of the actor. They looked like little fat, but seemed to be very happy. Thanks to them, I became to be happy, too!!

Baseball

I talk about practice of baseball. We practice 6 days in a week from 3.30pm until 6.15pm. We have 14 players in baseball club but in spring, some members return back to baseball club so our members are 18 players. Actually this year, members are more decrease than last year's member so my friends think this year's team is weaker than last year's team but we practice almost everyday and we work hard so our members believe this year's team stronger than last year's team.


Last blog comment, Mr.Kringle commented my blog and he wants to know baseball game schedule. I do not know baseball game schedule yet but if I get schedule of baseball game I want to notice the schedule through this blog so please check it.


Recently, I did not sleep because I have homework and I have to do it and so on. I want to sleep whole day and I want to go to Manhattan to buy something. There is very good place to buy cloth.

English class!!

Now, I am in computer room with Mr. Kringle's students and also I am Mr. Kringle's student. His class is very fun and his character is very funny too. We have taken only 2 Mr.Kringle's class since entrance ceremony. I want to take Mr. Kringle's class so many times.

Recently, we took the test of summer homework. It was little bit difficult for me. I thought I have to read more. I regret. I have to study English. So this year is last year for me. Therefore, I try to work hard. I promise. My goal is English grade is up to B.

Yesterday, we practiced baseball. I belong to baseball club and last season, we won the state champion ship. We have to win one more time in the state championship. Our goal is getting a state champion so we have to practice and concentrate. We have 20 players. They are very good players. Please cheer us.
