Today, I am going to talk about baseball season in 2009. Now, our record is 13 wins 2 loses. I think it is good record because last year, I mean in 2008, we got only 8 wins, 11 loses. And 2 years ago was 15 wins, 3 loses. It was very good score but we can change the best record. We have 3 more games in this season then play off will be started. The games are today, Friday, next Tuesday. All games are home game so if Mr.Kringle are free or you do not have things to work, please come to watch our game. I promise to you. We are going to win the all game absolutely. And actually, if we are going to win the today's game, we can get sead 1. That means we can play the all play off games at home game. I think sectional is going to start June 1st and sectional final is June 3rd. The final exam will be over in these days so please come to watch our last game. If we lose play off games, our baseball season is over at that time. Our goal is becoming a state champion again but first, we get No.1 sead and win the sectional and win the regional and get the state champion. It is hard to sucess but we have to do it so we practiced so much because we have to get courage to believe ourselves. We have to think that we can do it. There is no time for thnking about lose the games.
We have only one more month to finish this school. It was very good memory for me. Almost is baseball. I thought strange because I played baseball in only Japan so I am not used to play baseball in America but American baseball is good because American people think baseball is fun and we have to enjoy it. In Japan, I had practiced very very hard and I always think to win the game. I do not say Japanese baseball is not good and I do not say American baseball is better than Japanese baseball. I just want to say baseball is same in this world. Every player wants to win the game. If we have very strict practice, if we play baseall just for fun, we always think that we want to win the game. This part is same in this world. I have learned this since I came here.
Throgh the sports, we can learn so many things so if I am going to get a child, I want him to play baseball or rugby. I think baseball and rugby is very good for our lives. I do not know why but baseball and rugby can change person's mind. Their sports can clean our mind.
First, we have to win today's game. It is sunny. It is good for playing baseball. Today, I want to hit 4for 3 if I can. I will do my best !!

springbreak
Almost senior went to Florida trip when it was after the Shofusai but person who belong to baseball club did not go to Florida trip becasue we had 4 games in a week. I mean in a spring break. We had 4 players who belong to baseball club. Me, Takaho Chubachi, Kaoru Tachibana and Yoshitaka Imaeada. We promised we have to win all games because if we lose geme, we do not have meaning to quit to go to Florida trip. First day of spring break, it is little rain. We hoped we can play game but field condition was very bad so game was cancelled and next day, it was raining also and second game was canceled too. Third day of spring break, it was raining also and third game was cancelled again then we thought we should go to Florida now. Like a joke but 4th day of spring break, it was cloudy but we could play game. The game was against Rye Country Day. They were very strong and tough because last year, they won 20 games and they lost only 3 games. I thoght we might be lost but my feeling did not need because in the first inning, we got 7 runs suddenly and we got score more and more. The final score was 14-3. We won perfectly.
We changed our mind. We could not play 4 games in a week. We could play only 1 game but we practiced every day. It means our baseball ability did not decrease. We can play baseball as same as before spring break but I was little bit shocked because we could play only 1 game and also we lost first time in last Saturday against North Salem. We had double header that day. The first game was 12-1. We won but the second game was3-4. We lost. It was first time lose in this year's baseball season. Now, we won 7 games and we lost 1 game.
Today, we are going to have a home game against Blindbrook but Manhattanville is going to use the field so our game move to away game. I think it is unfair because yesterday, we had a home game but they had a game so we canselled that game therefore they have to practice another time. We are little bit angry.
We have a 12 more games before sectional is start. I want to win all games and I want to get first place in a league. If we can get first place in league. We can play all sectional game at HOME. It is advantage for us because we can get the field soon and we have so many galaly. They cheer up us. I can get power from their cheering. I do not know sectional's schedule yet. Baseball
I talk about my favorite sports which is baseball again. We are seventeen players in our team and six managers. 10th grade players are 9 players, 11th grade players are 4 players and 12th grade players are 4 players. And also 10th grade managers are 2 managers, 11th grade managers are also 2 managers and at last, 12th grade managers are 2 managers. They are very good managers because they always prepare water and some eqipment and if our uniforms get darty, they wash them by their hand so when we wear the uniform, the uniforms are always clean. Very white. I thank them and also I think other players thank them. We need them. Oh, I forgot this. If our game is away game, managers make rice balls for us. It is very important for players because when the game is end, we are very hungry so we have to eat something soon so it is going to help us.
Actually, we had 3 games until now but recently, the weather is not good, it is always rain so we did not have two games. Against Blindbrook and Tackahoe. It is made us sad because we want to play game always but today is good weather. It is not going to rain today!!so we can play game and also home game!! against Dobbs Ferry high school. In fact, we lost against them last year. That score was 2-11. It was worst game in the last year's game. We made so many errors and we could not hit so we lost but this year's team can get score everywhere. Therefore, 8th or 9th batter can hit basehit and leadoff batter is me so I can get RBI and we have good defense. Today's our goal is no error and we have to get a chance and get the chance. I mean we do not have to waste of chance. Baseball is that we do not have so many chances so we have to get tha chance. It is a key of winning the game.
I think today's order is 1st batter SS Tatsuto Kitajima, 2nd P Kenta Miyoshi, 3rd 3B Gota Kato, 4th C Takaho Chubachi, 5th LF Shun Oritachi, 6th 2B Shunsuke Yokoyama, 7th CF Ryuta Yashiro, 8th 1B Yoshitaka Imaeda and 9th RF Kaoru Tachibana. I think these are today's starting member. I expect 9th batter Kaoru Tachibana. He is in this class. Recently, he practiced seriously and very hard so I hope he can hit basehit.
Today's game is going to stare 4.30 pm and it is little bit cold out there so you have to wear many clothes. It is going to be very fun. Dobbs Ferry is very strong and tough team. You have to watch this game so please come to watch our game, Mr.Kringle!!
And I afraid of my grade. Today I am going to get my grade. I think it is going to be fine. I hope. If it is not going to be fine, I cannot play baseball today.

Today is a official game
Today, I talk about beseball again and again. Our basball season will start today. Actually, we had 3 scrimidges last week. Last Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Last Thursday was against Briahcliff. They are class B. Last Friday was against Westlake. They are class C. Last Saturday was against White Plains. They are class AA. We lost against Briahcliff 11-3. It was rain so we could not play well but we won against Westlake and White Plains. Against Westlake was 3-1. Against White Plains was 9-5. They were very good team. Especially, White Plains was last year's sectional finalist so they are strong and tough. White Plains' pitcher had very fast and good breaking ball but we hit a lot from him. We could get score for hitting. It was not for White Plains' error. For these games, we can believe ourselves that we are strong. We can get statechampionship this year too.
Actually, my batting score was 3 for 9 and 1 bb so it was 0.333. I have to hit more because I am a lead off batter.
From today, we have an official game against Solomon Schecter. We know they are weak because in last year, we beated them 18-0 at sectional quarter final but in league, we lost 5-7 and Coach Rocky got angry at us and we ran so many times. We did not concentrate in game so we lost. We have to concentrate in winning game today.
Our first home game is this Friday against Blindblook. We lost them 2-3. They were little bit storng and good but we did not have to lose them. It was shocked so we have to revenge.
Today, Kenta Miyoshi who is in 11 th grade pitch. He got All-State last year. He is a very good pitcher so we can win today because he pitch today. Ofcourse other pitchers are very good but he is best pitcher in this team. I think next good pitcher is Kaoru Tachibana who is in 12 th grade. I expext him.
I think actually this year's team is stronger than last year's team. This is not arrogant. Because of I say that, we can hit basehit everywhere. I mean 8th or 9th batter can hit basehit and they get RBI and we can also do a bant. It is very good point for strong team and also we have very good pitchers. Kaoru does not good yet but he is going to change. He is going to be a good pitcher. I believe so.
Our season start today and we run for getting state championship. We talked about it yesterday and we promised that. We believe that we can do it and we have to do it. We have some pressure but it is not releationship with us. We only play good play and we win. It is our goal. We are excited and interesting in play baseball.

official practice
Today, I talk about baseball again. From monday, our team started official practice which means try out. If player does not play well when two coaches watch him or two coaches think this player does not need our team this year, the player cannot play baaeball this year. How to know who accepted as a member or not accepted as a member is that coach put the paper on the wall. We get a number when we finish the practice before the paper will put on the wall and if the number is on the paper, the number of player accept as a team member but if the number is not on the paper, the number of player does not accept as a team member. I think it is strict but we have to win the game and practice. If player who does not play baseball well is not needed our team. It is waste of time. We can hit baseball or catch the ground ball more if he is not in team. This is the sports. Fortunately, I passed try out when I was a 10th grade. When I was 10th grade, 4 seniors failed, 1 junior failed and 2 sophmore failed. They could not play baseball that year. I felt very sad because 4 seniors worked hard 3 years or 4 years and they really want to join the team but I was a new student that year and I passed try out. I thought I will play for them and we have to win for them who did not pass the try out. I think everyone who passed the try out thnks like that so that year, we win 22 and we lost only 4. This is very good score of baseball but we could not get the state champions title that year. We lost state finals. I cried so much. I could not succeed so I promised that I have to win the state championship next year absolutely.

4 days off
From last Saturday, we do not have school until this wednesday. I mean today. I did not have a plan for this weekend because I had a baseball plactice everyday so I do not have a off. I wanted to go to Manhattan and I want to eat Japanese food which is Yakiniku. I promised two 10th grade student who belong to baseball club that I pay for them so go to Yakiniku. The reason of why the two 10th grade can go Yakiniku with me is all 10th grade did rock, scissors, paper and the two boys won so they can go Yakiniku with me. They really wanted to go there but we do not have a chance to go to Manhattan so this plan will be later.
Actually, I and Kaoru went to White Plains after baseball practice was end. We went to Galleria and Apple Bee's. Kaoru wanted to go to Galleria and he wanted to research about his necklace and some clothes. I followed him. When he looked some necklaces, I went to other cloth shop and I found very nice and cool cap which was colored by white and brand was "KANGOL" This brand's mark is kangaroo. and I was troubled about buying this cap. Then, Kaoru came to me and I talk about this cap to Kaoru buy this cap or not buy this cap. Kaoru said " Try to wear the cap." and I tried to wear the cap and then he said" you looks nice!! You should buy this cap!!." I decided that I am going to buy this cap because he said. It was 26 dollars. I thoght this cost is cheap and we decided to go to eat dinner. We went to Apple Bee's which is next to Target.
First, we entered Apple Bee's and sat the table. NBA played on TV. LAKERS VS SUNS. and we looked menu but there was another piece of menu. It sais" Choose One Appetizer and Choose Two Main" We suprised because we can eat appetizer and two main!!! I chose " Buffalo Chicken Wings" , " Bacon Cheese Burger" and " 7oz Stake" Kaoru ordered same one and we talked few minutes and first, Bufflo Chicken Wings came. It was little bit spicy but very good and next, " Bacon Cheese Burger" and " 7oz Stake" came same time. These meal's smell were very very good!! I and Kaoru ate them without talking. We concentrated eating them. They were very delicious and mede us happy. I felt food makes us happy and comfortable. After, we ate dinner, we went to Target and we walked in the market and we bought just one chooing gum and when I paid for this, Katy who is a super visor of E2 noticed us and she said" After, you guys pay for this, are you going to go back to dorm ? " and we said " Yes!!" and she said" Do you wanna ride my car to get back to dorm?" and we said" Yes, ofcourse!!!" and we rode her car. We were lucky because we did not pay for get back to dorm. We were going to ride a bus so we had to pay 2 dollars but we did not have to pay. It was lucky!!

my hobbies
Today, I talk about my hobbies. I have two hobbies. One of them is playing baseball. Actually, I played soocer when I was 6 years old but in winter, I felt it was too cold because I have to wear short pants so my leg was frozen. I was quit soccer and I did not play any sports over 3 years but when I was 10 years old therefore I was 4th grade student, I played baseball with my father and I felt baseball is very fun and excited!!! so I decided I play baseball and I was belong to Nagazumi Baseball club. I took part in the game as a starting line up when I was 5th grade. My position was third baseman and batting was 5th batter. I keep playing baseball until now. I am going to play baseball at Keio University.
Another my hobby is playing sports. Maybe, everyone thinks playing baseball and playing sport are same but in my mind, playimg baseball and playing baseball are not same because playing baseball is that I have to concentrate in practice and I have to get better and I have so many games but playing sports is that I can choose sports. For example, play rugby, play soccer, play badminton, play table tennis, play tennis and so on. And also, I do not have game of them. I think that point is differnt point of between playing baseball and playing sports.
And also, I love moving my body. I always go to weight room and I work out very hard and I can feel my ball is very fast and faster than other people. If I do not work out, I can not hit long hit like 2 base hit or 3 base hit or homerun. I want to be a middle hitter. Sometimes I hit 2base hit, 3 base hit or homerun. I am leading off batter so if I can hit middle hit, it is easy to get score. Like that team is very strong. I think my team has to be like that. If my team does not be like that, we can not get state champion again so I have to be middle hitter and I have to make a chance to get score easily.
Soon, we have 4 days dayoff. Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday but I think all of them, we have baseball practice so I can not rest. I want day off. Our baseball team's first game is April 1st against Tackahoe. Tackahoe was very strong last year but we won 8-3 in the sectional so they think they have to win against Keio but we do not lose. Coach said " this year, Tackahoe is not strong" so I feel little bit comfortable but I do not have to relax. We do not lose over 3 games. junior high school baseball
Today, I talk about my junior high school baseball. In my junior high school baseball, there were some problems. I talk about one problem in the some problems.
That was that I was 14 years old so I was in the 8th grade. When I was at that time, we had very big championship. It called "Hawks cup". I thought 50 junior high school baseball team took part in the championship. That was very high level championship so our team prepared for winning the championship. We worked hard so much. We ran, hit, practiced defense and our team became very strong. We did not lose at the scrimige. We thought we are going to win the championship but we shaved our eye blow the championship last night. Next day was the championship. Actually, we can not shave eye blow because school says " do not shave eyeblow" as a school rule. But we did because we wanted high motivation. We thought if we shave eye blow, we can get high motivation.
Then, next day we were practicing like usual. Mr. Kawamoto who teach us noticed my friend eye blow and he said " Hey, you shaved your eye blow, right?" and my friends said"...yes." then Mr. Kawamoto hit him so many times. He does not like like that students. He thinks students must follow school rule. He checked every player's eye blow and he noticed my eye blow too. He hit me so many times too. He noticed only me and the friend. Me and the friend was the starting line up but Mr.Kawamoto went out from the starting line up and he said " you guys do not have to be here. Go away!!" so we went side of ground and cried. Of course our team's motivation was very low. There were not very important player. We lost the game.
From then, we followed the school rule and we practiced so much. We became stronger than that day. I did not forget that day. That day is very important for me and also very important for our baseball team. We lost the game because of me and the friend. I felt the reason of lose is me then I changed my mind. I have to concentrate baseball. I do not want other thing.
That day, I learned school rule is very important. If we follow school rule, we can win the game. But if we do not follow the school rule, we can not win the game. Mr.Kawamoto was very good coach and teacher. I met him in this year's winter vacation. He did not change. Actually, he won the championship therefore his team became No.1 in the japan's junior high school in 1999 so I respected him so much. When I met him, He remembered me. I was very glad. I taught baseball for junior high school baseball player. They were very good player. I hope they can win the game in the summer. I am going to watch their game in the summer.
That was that I was 14 years old so I was in the 8th grade. When I was at that time, we had very big championship. It called "Hawks cup". I thought 50 junior high school baseball team took part in the championship. That was very high level championship so our team prepared for winning the championship. We worked hard so much. We ran, hit, practiced defense and our team became very strong. We did not lose at the scrimige. We thought we are going to win the championship but we shaved our eye blow the championship last night. Next day was the championship. Actually, we can not shave eye blow because school says " do not shave eyeblow" as a school rule. But we did because we wanted high motivation. We thought if we shave eye blow, we can get high motivation.
Then, next day we were practicing like usual. Mr. Kawamoto who teach us noticed my friend eye blow and he said " Hey, you shaved your eye blow, right?" and my friends said"...yes." then Mr. Kawamoto hit him so many times. He does not like like that students. He thinks students must follow school rule. He checked every player's eye blow and he noticed my eye blow too. He hit me so many times too. He noticed only me and the friend. Me and the friend was the starting line up but Mr.Kawamoto went out from the starting line up and he said " you guys do not have to be here. Go away!!" so we went side of ground and cried. Of course our team's motivation was very low. There were not very important player. We lost the game.
From then, we followed the school rule and we practiced so much. We became stronger than that day. I did not forget that day. That day is very important for me and also very important for our baseball team. We lost the game because of me and the friend. I felt the reason of lose is me then I changed my mind. I have to concentrate baseball. I do not want other thing.
That day, I learned school rule is very important. If we follow school rule, we can win the game. But if we do not follow the school rule, we can not win the game. Mr.Kawamoto was very good coach and teacher. I met him in this year's winter vacation. He did not change. Actually, he won the championship therefore his team became No.1 in the japan's junior high school in 1999 so I respected him so much. When I met him, He remembered me. I was very glad. I taught baseball for junior high school baseball player. They were very good player. I hope they can win the game in the summer. I am going to watch their game in the summer.

My friends
Today, I talk about my friend who is in my junior high school' s friends. The friend's name is Saito Eisuke. His grade is under than me. I and he went to different elementaly school. I saw him sometimes at baseball game. He belonged to Nagaoka fighters and I belonged to Nagazumi syonen baseball club so we had a game sometimes. When I was 8th grade, He entered Nagaoka junior high school as a new student. Ofcouse, he belonged to baseball club and we knew each other well.
He is very good baseball player. When he was 8th grade, he took part in the game so he took part in the 9th grade's game. Only him got the starting member in the 8th grade student. I played at second baseman and he played at short stop so our communication was very important in the game. We were very good friends. Actually, I went his house to stay night and he also came to my house to stay night.
When his junior high school game is over, I went there to watch the game. His team win so many times but in the last, he was hit and they lost. They were crying. Then, his junior high school's baseball was over. When he was thinking about high school, some high school wanted him to come their high school as a baseball player and they got some opinion. For example, he does not pay enter money, he does not pay all of money about school and so on. He thoght about that. He imaged about all school with me. I geve advice to him and he decided school. It was Aomori Yamada high school. Our home town is Fukuoka so Aomori is too far from Fukuoka but the school went to Koshien almost recently year. This is the point that He decided.
Sometimes, his grand parents said, you do not need to go like far place. You go to Fukuoak's high school and he talks about me. "My friend, Kitajima Tatsuro went to New York. New York is far than Aomori. Then, they are quiet.
Now, he is junior so 11th grade. He is belonging the school and baseball club. He went to Koshien last year 2008 and he got to the member as a pitcher so I watched his game. I could watch him in the TV. They won 2 times but they lost against Keio high school. But his play was very cool. He worked hard as a pitcher. He has a chance to go to Koshien in this year. I hope Aomori Yamada go to Koshien and get the champion's title.
And he has suponcer of Mizuno so he can get globe, batm, bag any items of Mizuno. Cost is free. This is very good. He gave me a globe in winter vacation. He is very kind person. My plan is that I go to Koshien in this year and I see him at Koshien but Koshien is in August so it will be very hot so I pay attention about temperature.

recently baseball practice
Our baseball season is coming soon and we have to prepare our new baseball season. Recently, baseketballs uses gym and it is very cold so we have to practice in the school. In the school, we cannot use baseball because it is very dangerous if the baseball hit the students so we separate pitcher and fielder. Pitchers run every day in the school or outside. Last Friday, I let them run from Keio Academy to Suny Purchase. There is park for running. I have not gone there so I do not know where it is and how shape the running course but one of the them who is Imaeda belonged to cross country club so he knows. He leaded pitchers as a captain. I heard the park's distance is 3 miles!! They had to run 2 raps so they ran 6 miles and from Keio Academy to there's distance is about 2 miles so they ran total about 10 miles!! I think this is very important and very good practice for pitcher because pitchers have to have stamina and very strong mental and strong below the waist. I want to keep let them do but catchers also do this practice. Last Friday, one of the catchers who vomit in the park. He was very tired. When I heard, I thought I let them do too much but we have to win in the state championship so I keep doing.
Next, I talk about fielder's practice. Fielder's practice mainly works out, sprint and swing the bat. We do not run long distance. We run middle distance. It is about 300 meter or 400 meter. Actually, this is very harder than long distance. Work out is very important for the fielders because if we do not have muscle, the ball which is we hit does not fly so we have to have big muscle and also swing the bat is very important for us because if our swing speed is slow, we cannot respond very fast ball so we have to swing the bat so many times. Day before yesterday, I checked fielders how much they can lift up bench press. I was surprised because almost players could lift up bench press when I checked them 1 month ago. I was glad that they worked hard.
If basketball season is over in next week, Kaoru and Chubachi are going to return back baseball. They are very important player for us. Kaoru is No 2 pitcher our rotation and Chubachi is catcher. They are good at play baseball so I expect them. Actually, Chubachi is very good player but Kaoru cannot hit well so if he returns back, I have to teach him how to hit. His bat swing is upper swing so he has to swing revel swing. He hit the baseball like pararell as a ground. If Kaoru cannot hit well, it is difficult to win league and state championship so I hope Kaoru works very hard. Of course, every player has to work hard too!!!

2nd exam
I finished 2nd exam in last Friday. I was so tired. I thougt this quareter's grade will be better than 1st quarter. Actually, English was better, Kokugo was better and Japanese history was better but preculculus was worse than 1st quarter. I regreted it. I am not able to do math. I do not like math.
I did not feel that I studied so much. Even though, I got better score than 1st quarter. This means, I concentrated studying in this quarter. I think this is important. I have to concentrate in short time. I learned how to syudy. I hope that my grade will be better than 2nd quarter.
And today, it snowed so much so we did not have school. Today is snow day!! I excited but I did not have things to do so I slept and I went weight room for spring season. Baseball season is coming soon. I and baseball player are excited!!

Baseball season coming soon
Maybe,1 month later baseball and rugby season will start. Baseball and Rugby worked hard everyday. We practiced 2 seasons, fall and winter so we expected the season starts soon. I think the spring sports is best season because the weather is very good. It is warm and sunny so we are able to play sports well. We are active.
We practiced very hard. We did weight trainig, sprint, running, mental trainig and so on. We became strong. Two coaches expect us. They believe that we become state champion again so coach come here every saturday and sunday. We thank them.
We have to do some thing. That is that we have to pass the exam and we cannot get F on 2nd quarter and 3rd quarter so we have to study hard.

Winter vacation
we went back to japan in December 17th 2008 and we arrived japan in December 18th 2008 and we arrived Narita airport. Almost students could go back their home soon but I could not go back soon because I live in fukuoka which is far from Narita airport so I wait airplane which flight Narita airport to Fukuoka airport. It took about 2 hours to get Fukuoka. I was very tired.
When I got Fukuoka airport, my father waited for me and I met him. After we met, we went to kalbi house which name is Eizan. I ate a lot and it was very delicious. Then we went back my home. My pet which name is shizuku ran to me and she sucked my face. He looks happy and my mother waited for me at my home. I took in the bath soon. I felt I am dirty. Took a bath is very comfortable and I slept.
My memory of winter vacation is that I played baseball with my friends who were friends when I was junior high school students. We gathered 7.30am and we went to our junior high school's ground. The member of our junior high school baseball team is about 80 members. They were very good player. We praciticed baseball from 8 am to 4 pm. We enjoyed about it.
